Emma Jaques is a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, through which she has been awarded Practitioner accreditation; a global standard achieved by fewer than 250 people around the world. Emma has worked in client-facing environments for over 20 years and has a wealth of experience in managing both B2B and B2C projects. 

A business development specialist, Emma is experienced in helping organisations to create strategic and tactical programmes to meet their immediate and longer-term challenges. 

She has led teams tasked with designing high profile programmes for UK organisations such as O2, Sainsbury’s, BT
 and British Gas, central government and local authorities as well as some of the UK’s largest charities. Emma equally enjoys working with small and medium-sized businesses, giving them the confidence and skills to create winning bids and achieve their potential. With experience of bidding to private and public sector organisations on contract awards ranging in size from £1k to over £500m, Emma’s personal win rate is currently over 80%.

Emma is an excellent communicator, with a wealth of experience in business writing, particularly bid, proposition and proposal documents. Emma completed the Chapterhouse Proofreading course in 2005. 

Emma is also a published author. She has written two books on bidding best practice, both published by Kogan Page. Bid Management is aimed at bid novices, whilst The Winning Bid is written for more advanced bid managers.

Emma has broad experience of coaching and mentoring in bid skills, as well as in the delivery of group training and interactive workshops. She has delivered workshops on behalf of several UK Chambers of Commerce, as well as to numerous clients. 

Emma is also an experienced speaker, happy to share her enthusiasm for bid best practice.
