Zeenara Najam is an experienced Transport Planner with a wide range of experience gained through working in both public and private sectors in the UK and abroad including the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP). She has been involved in various £5m + national and international transport projects.

Zeenara has earned her master’s degree in Transport Planning and Engineering, and her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Zeenara is a 2 PRINCE2 certified project manager;  PRINCE2 is a widely recognised and used project management methodology both in the UK and internationally.

Zeenara has worked on high profile transport projects, produced transport strategy and policy documents, secured funding through producing successful business cases and completed multi-modal transport feasibility studies. 
Additionally, she has developed and delivered cost-effective technical training courses, workshops and conferences in the UK and abroad. She has led PTRC as head of technical development at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT-UK). She has served as a committee member to the Chartered Institution of Transportation and Highways (CIHT) East Anglia and East Midland branches.

Zeenara is also a certified trainer and assessor for Level 1 (which focuses on the basic work activities) to Level-7 (for senior managers) National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ). She is a peer reviewer of US Transportation Research Board(TRB).
